Project Description:

The Theater Odeon, completed in 2024, is a groundbreaking cultural venue in Belgrade, Serbia. Formerly a cult cinema, it has been transformed into the most modern Broadway-style theater in the region, specializing in musicals. It combines traditional theater arts with cutting-edge technology, dynamic programming, and avant-garde theatrical performances, creating a unique experience for audiences.

To deliver a rich audio-visual spectacle, the stage features 250 square meters of LED screens, four hydraulic stages (two of which rotate), and an innovative hologram screen. The Odeon Theater provides audiences with three distinct visual experiences—cinema projection, theater performance, and rock concert—setting a new standard for theaters in Europe.

The facility's lighting system, managed by ComfortClick's Grinder Black server, uses KNX and DALI technologies to control general lighting throughout the venue. Schneider Electric equipment and KNX sensors and buttons ensure that the lighting adapts seamlessly to the diverse range of events hosted at the theater. The operator can select pre-programmed lighting scenes depending on the type of performance or event, with the flexibility to create and adjust scenes as needed.

This combination of innovative lighting control, advanced technology, and dynamic staging creates a future-oriented theater experience, making the Theater Odeon a standout project in Europe’s cultural landscape.
