Device preparation

Create a free account on the official Airthings website. In order to see air quality values from the Airthings devices in bOS, firstly download the official Airthings application on your smart phone and include your air quality meters using Bluetooth. Follow the instructions included in the manual of the device. Once the devices are included in your account, they will also be visible in the Airthings dashboard. Dashboard is also required to receive API tokens for integration into bOS.

Configuration

Download the example from our website and import it into your configuration. Step by step instructions on how to import are available in our instructional video.

Once the example is downloaded, using the Airthings dashboard navigate to Integrations and API. Paste your Client ID and client Secret under "Airthings Authorization" node in bOS. Make sure the API is activated and if the ID's are set correctly, values should automatically be populated in bOS. Sensors will automatically refresh value every 60s. This value can be tweaked accordingly using the Cyclically Send Delay function of the command. Example contains a simple visualization panel displaying all values. All values are also stored in the log, which can be added into existing configuration.
