Device preparation

The Phantom64PRO VideoIP and Spark32 VideoIP control panels must have a compatible firmware (see control panel firmware release notes) in order to be able to perform monitoring and control operations on the device itself.

Configuration

In this example an Elmax alarm panel with different kinds of zones, areas and output commands is controlled. Every areas/zones/outputs must have the correct number. Also the Elmax alarm panel can be controlled using it's virtual keypad. It supports a different PIN from the one used in the panel for the login. The integration works with http/https rest API, so the first thing is to make a connection between bOS and the Elmax Alarm Panel. Put the correct IP addess of the Alarm Panel inside “Host URL” parameter of the “elmax” http device replacing the word “YourIP”.

Areas, Zones, Outputs, Groups, Scenes and Covers are structured into template folders. The user have to duplicate these folders for the number of entities present in your system (Note that rename the folder is not strictly necessary). The second step is to assign the correct number, matching the one in the Alarm panel, to each entities in the “number” node which is located into its template folder. Finally the “control” node of each folders must be import into the theme to show the respective GUI of the entity.
